Zombie Scholar

Contributor guide

House rules for the stacks

Be kind, cite your source, fold your spoilers. The rest is detail, and the detail is below.

A good contribution

  • Names exactly which version you mean: edition, cut, season or game release.
  • Gives a source someone else can check, with a locator.
  • Uses your own words for summaries. No copied blurbs or full-text uploads.
  • Marks spoilers and keeps them out of titles and summaries.
  • Says "unknown" rather than guessing.
  • Discloses any connection to the work: creator, publisher or promoter.

Community rules

  • Civility always. Disagree with the classification, not the person.
  • No harassment, spam or promotion without disclosure.
  • No piracy links and no unauthorized full-text uploads.
  • Jokes are about fictional creatures and genre habits, never about cultures, disabilities or real illnesses.
  • Report problems rather than retaliating. Moderator decisions can be appealed.

What you give, and what you keep

When you submit, you give Zombie Scholar permission to display, edit, merge and republish your contribution as part of the catalog. You are credited under the name you choose. Private account information is kept apart from public attribution, and you will be able to export or delete your account data. The full terms will be published before submissions open.

Images and uploads

Contributions start as text and external source links. Image uploads come later, only after rights review, file restrictions and moderation are in place. Unrestricted comments wait until moderator coverage and backlog limits are defined.
